For chiefs of staff and operators

Decisions leave the meeting already routed.

Highlight sits with you in the exec meeting, the staff meeting and the 1:1, and turns what was decided into what happens next. The Notion update, the message to the person it affects, the note to the team whose plan just changed. Drafted, routed, waiting on your approval.

Vendor Review — Ramp

Renewal conversation. Open from last quarter: the seat count we never trued up, and the security review legal asked for in June. Pricing tiers have changed since you last talked.

Reminders

  • Jot down a thought, task, idea…

Ready for review

You’re here to make the calls that move the company.

The decision gets made in the room. That part is the job and your judgment is why you’re in there. The routing after is not. The tracker, the slack message, the doc that’s now wrong: each one a different tool, a different tab, a different train of thought.

Spend the week deciding, not routing

  • The pre-read

    Monday’s agenda, already assembled

Last week’s decisions, what’s still open, and who owes what. Pulled from the meetings and tools where the work lives, not from your weekend.

  • The route

Meeting ends. The routing is drafted

The tracker updated with the new date and owner. The message to the PMM mid-launch on the updated timeline. The note to finance, whose forecast assumed Q3.

  • The loop

Even when you run the interview

No recruiter on this one. You finish the call and the scorecard, follow-up, and hiring manager note are already drafted.

  • The follow-through

    Three commitments, no movement

The things agreed on Tuesday that haven’t moved since. Each one gets a nudge, written and addressed, waiting on your send.

  • The lookup

    Answered in a sentence

“What did we decide on the vendor contract, and who owns it?” One message, answered from the meeting six weeks ago. Not from scrolling a doc you’re pretty sure exists.

  • The update

    Friday builds itself

Status ready before the leadership sync, pulled from where the work actually moved. Including the two teams that never shared an update.

How Highlight works

In the room. In your voice. On your approval.

  • It’s already there.

Runs on your desktop and joins your calls. It knows the project, the owners, and what was committed to last time. No bot to invite, nothing to paste.

  • It writes like you.

Your memo format, your email voice, your Slack shorthand, learned from your own writing.

  • It waits for you.

Drafts arrive from what it hears, on a schedule, or whenever you ask. Nothing goes to your tracker, Slack, or inbox until you say so.

They hand you material. Highlight hands you finished work.

  • A Notetaker

Captures the decision. The routing still isn’t done.

Highlight starts where the note takes stop. Decision captured and next steps started. Already on Granola? Import your history in one step and keep the context you’ve built.

  • ChatGPT or Claude

Drafts anything, once you assemble the context.

Assembling it is the job you’re removing. Highlight already has it.

  • Your tool’s built-in AI

Notion, Linear and Asana reflect what someone entered.

Getting the decision into the tool is the step that keeps failing. Highlight does that step.

  • The workflow you built yourself

Works, and it’s one more thing only you understand.

Operator skills built in. New ones, you add by asking.

Frequently asked questions

Does it send anything automatically?
No. Every action is a draft staged for your approval.
Does it decide what to route, or do I?
It proposes. It identifies the decision, works out who’s affected from the context it has, and drafts each message. You approve, edit or discard every one.
Can my team ask it questions instead of asking me?
For anything in shared docs and conversations it’s connected to, yes. Highlight builds your context for you first; a shared team layer is the direction we’re working toward.
What happens with a 1:1 I don’t want captured?
Choose not to record before it starts, pause capture mid-conversation, or delete it afterward and remove it from what Highlight knows. There’s no automatic rule for excluding all 1:1s yet, so today it’s a deliberate choice each time.
Which tools does it write into?
Notion, Linear, Google Docs, Slack and Gmail. It reads from those plus Granola and others you connect.
What does it remember?
Decisions, owners, dates and the meetings they came from. Which is why “what did we decide on the vendor contract” has an answer six weeks later.
Do I have to build anything before it’s useful?
No. It produces real drafts from your first meeting, and you add new skills by describing what you want once.
Is there a free version?
There’s a 14-day free trial on Lite and Pro.
